Our new lifestyle show… about death… should that be called our first deathstyle show?

Anyway, “Dead Serious” launches today! Hosted by Molly Carlile from Australia, Dead Serious is a program about death, grief, loss and life. It explores the level of ignorance in our society about the process of dying and the implications of death on our communities. It encourages listeners to think and talk about the important questions. What is death? How do we die? How do we remember people after they have died? What is the impact of death on our everyday lives?

This program explores the influences of culture, religion and spirituality on how we make meaning for ourselves after a significant death. It explores the experiences of individuals with planning their own death and the rituals around their death. It also introduces the idea of ‘sharing’ our experiences and looks at how as a community we can support dying and grieving friends, family colleagues and particularly our children.
