Wanna host The Jazz Show?
THE JAZZ SHOW on TPN has always been one of our top rated shows. Unfortunately, it’s host, Dubber, has got himself involved in too many projects and has to say bye-bye (he’s also the guy behind CLAYBOURNE, but that’s not going away!).
So we’re looking for someone new to delight our senses with the cool the hot and the complex. You’ll need to find new “podsafe” jazz music on the web, and distill the best of it down to a half hour for us to digest each week. If that sounds like you… email me… email me now…

Podcasts and Screencasts are not the same

Hi there,
As a result of having FAR too much time on my hands, I have been lurking around this whole podcast stuff and I am slowly getting hooked. Perhaps I can offer some services, but I need to get my head around the way that the podcast is put together, I mean, what equipment do I need to put a show together?
I know that I’m sounding dumb here, but I actually have a lot of music, mainly blues and bluegrass, with backup information on artists, that is MP3 downloaded from public sites, therefore, no dramas with copyright or stuff. I just don’t know what equipment I need to record my voice and music – I’ve listened to the Dubber’s show and he is, as you know, a broadcaster by “trade”. Therefore, he obviously has access to the right stuff.
‘talk to me?
