It’s going to be BIG
Its been a pretty hectic couple of months at TPN HQ…what with launching new shows and doing all the stuff that goes along with running the biggest and best podcast network around. But we have also been working behind the scenes with a few companies helping them to develop not only podcasting (audio) but also other types of media-casting for their own uses…and the first one just went live…and its BIG! :)
If you are in Australia…and you are a developer who uses Microsoft products…you should be going to Microsofts annual developer conference, Tech.Ed 2005, which is being held on the Gold Coast at the end of August.
And if you wanted to get a taste for what was going on at the Australian Tech.Ed this year, how would you do it??? Well…you would not have to go any further than the Tech.Ed Media-casting site would you…
During the lead up to Tech.Ed 2005, you will be able to watch (thats right…they have video) and listen (and audio) to Microsoft Australia staff and a selection of session presenters (mostly MVP’s) talk about why you should attend this once a year opportunity. All of this material will be available on the Tech.Ed 2005 media-casting site.
During Tech.Ed, you will also be able to get (almost) live audio and video updates straight from the event from a number of blogs run by MS Australia staff…including Frank Arrigo, Charles Sterling and Michael Kleef. We will also set up a category over on The MS DEV Show site with all the Tech.Ed 2005 material as well.
And who is producing this excellant material i hear you ask…well…it would be none other than Mick (thats me) and Cam…the people behind your favourite podcast network (which is TPN of course…right??).
So go and check it out…it looks like it will not only be the biggest media-cast ever done by Microsoft in Australia, but i think it would be fair to say that it could turn out to be one of the biggest media-casts of an event done in the world…full-stop.
