TPN #35 - The Best of TPN!
Not sure how to keep up with all of the new channels launching on TPN? Then boy, do I have the channel for you!
Each week, Christian Payne will be pulling clips from the other TPN channels and providing his “BEST OF TPN”.
For example, in his first show he teases your tonsils with a mouth-watering entrée of extreme geekiness from The GNU/Linux User Show, then comes on heavy with a main course of Matt, Freak & The Fatboy’s own brand of naughty Aussie comedy, and then washes it all down with a drop of The Cranky Middle Manager Show.
It’s an easy way for you to listen to get a feel for some of the other shows running on TPN without making the huge emotional commitment of clicking “SUBSCRIBE”.
Of course, if you have your pants ALL the way on, you could just go get our freakin’ OPML list and suck ALL them puppies into your podcatcher of choice. What is OPML??? Just think of it as a list of ALL of our RSS feeds, so you can get them all in one hit (ie you can import them in one go into your podcatcher).
As MR T would (I’m quite sure) say: “I pity tha fool who doesn’t subscribe to the RSS feed of this podcast!”

I could use your OPML but then I would need to keep coming back and getting the latest version. Plus my podcatcher doesn’t support OPML yet (note to self: Need to do that enhancement request with getright!).
OR
You could make a EVERY SHOW ON THE Network feed! One feed, all shows and blogs. Even just all the Podcast entries/caterogries off all the shows in one feed!! No need to ever add another feed to my podcatcher again! Why? Because a new show comes out and you add it to the everything feed and I start getting it!
The only two reasons I can think why you wouldn’t do it is:
1) To hard basket: You have no good way to do it
2) Not good for Stats collection (Similar to point 1)
3) (Okay I thought of another one) Its a bad idea as there would just be to many shows and many may not be relevant
4) (Okay, I really lied) Would use too much bandwidth!
