We’re very excited today to announce that Martin Devaughan aka Green Dragon is joining TPN!
Martin helped to make music history when unsigned band Koopa entered the UK charts earlier this year, thanks to exposure in his Bite Size Bonus podcast. He began podcasting in October 2004, is credited as the UK’s first ever podcaster, making the switch from radio and club DJ and artist management to become one of the UK’s best known podcasters.
As of next week he’ll be producing the Monday edition of TPN Rock and in a couple of weeks we’ll be launching his new, top secret music show!
As Australia’s first podcaster I’m excited to welcome the UK’s first podcaster to TPN!

Credited as being the first UK based Podcaster, Martin ‘GD’ Devaughan and Green Dragon Media has signed up with Australlia’s The Podcast Network (TPN) to bring his extensive love and knowledge of music to the world’s first commercial network of podcasters.
“TPN has allowed me more freedom in my contract, with no network exclusivity to restrict me working as and where I want, and they are fun guys to work with,” comments Devaughan on his reason for choosing TPN. He will be joining the long running TPN Rock show, bringing his formidable knowledge of the indie and upcoming music scene to the leading music show on the network.
Ewan Spence, VP of The Podcast Network, and the host of TPN Rock. “If the goal of TPN Rock is to showcase the best unknown, unsigned and under-appreciated bands and artists from around the world, I had no hesitation in offering the chair to one of the best music podcasters in the world.” Spence will continue to run TPN Rock on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Throw into this a brand new Dance music show – Mixed Up – to debut mid-October, and the future for music fans at the Australlian based network is looking impressive. “To have Martin bring his love and energy to TPN will let us continue to promote new music from bands and artists looking for a trusted global platform to reach new fans” says Cameron Reily, CEO of The Podcast Network.
